Abstract

The conflict in the Middle East had its origin with the creation of the state of Israel. The legitimate emergence of this new political entity has its consequences in our current world situation, causing it to still be an unresolved problem. The article proposes to review the origin of the conflict in the Middle East paying special attention to the main historiographical debates.
