What do we study when we study public relations? Bibliometric analysis of the basic bibliography used in the public relations careers of Argentina
Abstract
This research addresses the topic of teaching public relations in Argentina universities. From a qualitative-quantitative perspective and a novel design based on content analysis and bibliometrics, we proceeded to analyze what texts and authors are most used and cited in the subjects of public relations. Through this analysis, we were able to observe what is the dominant perspective between the two great traditions, Anglo-Saxon and European, adding, also, the Argentine and Latin American vision.
