The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to implement virtual classes and it was the only option for students on the planet. At the National University of La Matanza, after three virtual semesters, it is necessary to gather information on this virtual experience that will surely impact future decisions on the modality of post-pandemic courses. A virtual survey was designed for all the students who completed the English course in the 1st semester of 2021. The results indicate that 69.7% had never taken a virtual subject. Even so, 49.6% would choose to study English online in the future, and 29.1% would lean towards bimodality, while 19.6% would opt for the face-to-face course. These data give the guideline that the experience can be considered very satisfactory. These results imply a timely review to rethink the modality of English courses at UNLaM in the post-pandemic.
