Three keys to think about social policies in neoliberalism

Abstract

The new social issue gives way into a context of wide structural transformation both locally and globally. It becomes necessary to think theoretically and methodologically about the social issue due to new strain in the social policies. This paper intends to ponder on change processes in neoliberalism social policy in three reading points. The first part reviews the transformations in appliances for social regulation and their consequences on the relation among collective and individual. The second part analyzes opitular aid according to objectives and interests. The last part focuses in changes on the definition of subject that social policies prescribe.
