Abstract

In this paper the question of the foundation and truth in the Western philosophical tradition is presented, from the perspective of what and how foundation and truth are built. The paper parts from a the Heidegger’s reading on the subject, and then presents some connections to Deleuze’s reception of the Nietzsche philosophy in his book "Nietzsche and Philosophy". This analysis shows how Deleuze fights and runs a decisive attack against the problem of the foundation and the truth, both specific issues of the philosophical tradition that forces Deleuze to liberate the being of those bonds and rethink key concepts of the philosophy of Nietzsche, such as Strength, state of becoming, will, eternal return and difference.
