This essay analyzes the ethical challenges of democracy in the digital age, bringing together the perspectives of José Tolentino de Mendonça and Byung-Chul Han. The study examines how digitalization has transformed the perception of time and space, redefining the political, social, and cultural landscape. It explores the concept of "dataism" and its implications for politics and society. The methodology is based on a critical analysis of these authors' works and other relevant thinkers. The results suggest that the digital era has led to a crisis of trust and identity, turning citizens into passive spectators. The main conclusion is that 21st-century politics must refocus on the human being, strengthening a holistic vision of the individual and promoting hope and humanism in political discourse.
