Abstract

E-status is one of the learning tools used in the subject “Probability and Statistics” of different Engineering programs at UNLaM. Such platform is developed with Open Source technology and allows teachers to create exercises for students to resolve via internet. This software can resolve the exercises automatically and give feedback based on the student´s solution. The present work evaluates platform use indicators and associates them with the students´ final condition at the end of the semester. A positive relationship was observed between platform use and course passing rates. Moreover, we observed greater platform use in the first semester of 2017 as compared to the last semester of 2016.
